About the race
The Miraflores Running Day is the autumn sports day put on by the sports department of Miraflores de la Sierra town hall. It is not a competitive race: everyone picks a distance and can run it, walk it or go at their own pace, so it also works as a family walk.
The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday 14 November, starting at 10:00 from Plaza de España, with three courses to choose from: 6, 10 and 16 km. This year's route has not been published; in previous years the event left the village centre and climbed along dirt tracks on the mountainside, with views over the valley.
It is a good choice if you want to run in the hills without the pressure of the clock, or to come along as a family. Entry costs €6 and, as is tradition, there is a prize draw for participants at the finish. In 2025 all proceeds went to the Fundación La Vida en Rosa.

No dedicated parking has been announced for 2026. In 2024 the town hall offered free all-day parking at the Hotel Palacio Miraflores (C/ Fuente del Pino, 6).
Getting there
Interurban bus 725 Madrid – Miraflores de la Sierra – Bustarviejo – Valdemanco, which leaves from the Plaza de Castilla interchange and runs via Colmenar Viejo and Soto del Real.
