Sunset Run Soto del Real

The Sunset Run is a charity race at dusk that kicked off «Levanta, Soto», Soto del Real town hall's new programme of sport, culture and leisure activities, in September 2026. It was organised by Kireo Events, and half of every entry fee went to the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer).

It was held on Saturday 12 September from Plaza de la Villa over two distances: a short 7.5 km race that set off at 19:00 and a long 11 km race at 19:10. The town hall's report describes streets full of runners, but neither the route nor the elevation profile has been published.

The rules themselves pitch it as a race meant to be fun, with a 300-runner limit, refreshments at the finish, a commemorative gift and prizes for the top three in each category. The evening ended with a flamenco fusion concert in the square. No new edition has been announced so far.
