Pedestre Popular Correbecerril

The Correbecerril is Becerril de la Sierra's community race, organised by the town hall's sports department in early September to coincide with the local fiestas. The 2026 edition was the 33rd.

The 10 km race covers two laps of a 5 km circuit that starts and finishes in Plaza de la Constitución, opposite the town hall. Each lap starts on dirt tracks and ends on the tarmac streets of the village, over a gentle, slightly rolling profile. There are water stations at km 2.5 and 5, plus another at the finish. The time limit is 1 h 15 min, with a 40-minute cut-off at the end of the first lap.

It is a friendly, low-cost race with cash prizes for the overall and local podiums. The same morning there is a 5 km race (one lap) and free kids' races from age 5, and every finisher gets a T-shirt and a picnic.

Cash prizes in the 10 km: €75, €60 and €45 for the top three men and women overall, and €45, €30 and €15 in the local category. Won by Ignacio González Pont (33:50) and Katia Mazarías (41:55); 51 runners finished the 10 km.
