About the race
Iberika Trail San Agustín del Guadalix is the mountain race of this town on the A-1 and one of the stops of the Iberika Trail Comunidad de Madrid 7 Estrellas series organised by Enphorma. The 2026 edition, the 13th, was held on 12 April; the 2025 race had taken place in October.
The short race is billed as a 10K with 400 m of climbing, although the registration platform and the official profile put it at about 9.5 km. It starts and finishes on the athletics track of the municipal sports centre and is a leg-breaker: several short, steep climbs, the highest reaching about 810 m around km 4, plus a passage by the Hervidero waterfall where wet feet are all but guaranteed.
There are two aid stations on the course and another at the finish. Besides the short race you can choose the 17 km long race with 800 m of climbing or the 6.7 km Iberika Fast Trail, a gentler option for mountain-running newcomers.

The organiser's map places the parking area in the neighbourhood around Avenida Alcalde Lorenzo Ginés Brandín, a few minutes' walk from the athletics track; from Madrid, take exit 34 of the A-1.

Interurban buses 191, 193, 194, 195 and 196 from the Plaza de Castilla interchange in Madrid; line 727 from Colmenar Viejo and line 166 from San Sebastián de los Reyes.
