About the race
The Pedrezuela San Silvestre is the mountain race that wraps up the Iberika Trail Comunidad de Madrid 7 Estrellas series every December; the overall series trophies are handed out once it finishes. It is organised by Enphorma with support from the town hall and reaches its 15th edition in 2026.
The short race starts and finishes in Plaza de la Constitución, opposite the town hall, and covers about 10 km with 350 m of climbing over the hilly terrain around the village, ranging roughly between 750 and 900 m above sea level. There is one aid station with drinks and food around halfway and a 2-hour time limit.
It is an accessible way to sign off the year on the trails, though the short climbs bite; runners from the cadet category upwards can take part. The same morning features a long race of about 25 km, the Iberika Fast Trail and a hiking walk, and every finisher gets a medal and food at the finish.

The organisers list five parking areas 300–700 m from the start: Avenida de los Toreros (closest, about 320 m), Calle la Acebeda, Calle de las Eras (opposite the Gerontos care home), Calle del Prado Concejo and Paseo de la Ermita.
Getting there
Interurban bus 193 (Madrid Plaza de Castilla – Pedrezuela – El Vellón), departing from bay 37 at the Plaza de Castilla interchange. Line 191 to Buitrago does not stop in Pedrezuela.
