About the race
The Run Madrid Night in Manzanares el Real is a 10 km popular night race that starts at sunset from the town hall square, at the foot of La Pedriza. It is part of the Run Madrid Night series run by the YouEvent platform with the support of local councils, the successor to the former «Madrid se mueve por Madrid», and its list of Manzanares winners goes back to 2015.
The course is a loop that mixes streets in the old town with paths on the outskirts: it passes the Castillo Viejo, heads towards La Pedriza and comes back past the Peña Sacra hermitage before returning to the square. Because part of the route has no street lighting, a head torch is compulsory for everyone. The organisers do not publish the elevation gain.
A non-competitive 7.5 km night walk, open from age 7, runs at the same time; the race itself is open from age 14. The 2026 edition took place on Friday 26 June and 168 runners finished the 10K. The series has already put Manzanares on its 2027 calendar.

Interurban bus 724 Madrid (Plaza de Castilla) – El Boalo – Manzanares el Real; also lines 720 (Colmenar Viejo – Collado Villalba) and 728 (Colmenar Viejo station – Manzanares el Real). The race finishes after dark, so check the time of the last bus back.
